I penned this poem after about a month of college. It is dated September 27, 1999.
You think you own me
Well you have another thing coming
Because you see I've got Jesus
And He's got me
Why do you think you can run over me?
Is it because of my Christianity?
You haven't won yet, and you never will
I've read the book and I know the end
Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess
That Jesus Christ is Lord
Because of the cross I have room and board
In a place called heaven
I'll never belong to mere men
