At the puddle, at the pond
When I hail the frog, he'll respond
"Can't you change me with a magic wand?"

Here lies the end of a snake,
His life cut short by a rake.
Found to be out of bounds, he
No longer will hang around.

There Once Was a Dunce

There once was a dunce,
Who built a church out of birch.
When the thundercloud came,
It burst into flame.
And nothing was left but the clay.

There once was a dunce,
Who got advice from the mice.
They said, "Build it with bricks,
Instead of dry sticks."
And the church still stands today.
